*Driver Recruiter*
We are looking for an experienced driver recruiter to join our team! As a key part of our team, the recruiter plays a strong role in bringing on board qualified drivers and creating an effective onboarding process, contributing to the growth and overall success of our company.
*Qualifications*
· A degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or 3-5 years of proven experience in transportation recruitment or related field.
· Able to perform and oversee every phase of the recruitment process, such as, preparing advertisements, reviewing applications, phone screening, evaluating, and conducting background checks and orientations.
· Experience in an office setting, handling sensitive and confidential information.
· High degree of professional ethics, a sense of fairness, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in computer skills and technical capability to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines.
· Strong analysis, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
· Solid understanding of the recruitment process and hiring regulations.
· Organized and detail-orientated with effective multitasking abilities.
· Proficient in English.
Spanish or Russian language skills are preferred but not required.
*Responsibilities*
· Prepare advertisements to ensure the growth of the company.
· Manage the company’s social media accounts.
· Act as the primary contact for all driver applicants.
· Review applications of prospective drivers.
· Complete background checks, including Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, MVR, PSP reports, and previous employment verifications in compliance with DOT regulations.
· Schedule pre-employment drug screenings.
· Schedule and conduct orientations in coordination with the safety manager.
· Complete and maintain driver personnel and qualification files.
· Respond to DOT's previous employment verifications for former drivers.
· Revising all orientation paperwork to comply with company policy changes.
· Deactivate terminated drivers.
· Engaging in driver safety meeting events by promoting drivers involvement in the driver referral program.
